any good

I was looking at the ATN1500 laser rangefinder and was wondering if thay were any good and how far they can read out to on deer size animals.

Not trying to be discouraging, but I would stay away from ATN. Pretty much the lower end of the quality scale. However I confess I've never put this unit through it's paces.

A much more trustworthy option is the Bushnell Elite 1500, for not much more money.
