Is a 20 moa base enough for out to 1000 yrds or is a 40 needed? will the 40 moa base be bad for shots inside of 100 yrds?

Re: 308 scope base

A 20 will work if the scope can elevate far enough.

Re: 308 scope base

Just check the elevation and see how many it has. 45 MOA should make it to 1K. I have a NXS on my 6mm and it makes it to 1K. Also depends on the bullet BC and MV.
