It doesn't matter if you can kill a wolf on sight in Wyoming. How many do you think will die? If the number is significant, the huggers will file an immediate court injunction. I'm happy about the de-listing. I'll be happier if the courts decide to let the de-listing stand, and allow the states (Wyoming, Idaho, Montana) to implement their respective management plans. Until this happens, the Wyoming predator thing means nothing. mtmuley

Sendero,
Sure looking forward to the first pic! Good luck. I make a few trips to the Jackson area each year. Where are they protected?

here is the protected area. Trophy status. Hunting this fall, unless any lawsuits hold up.

The rest of the state is all predator status. Shoot on site. :-)

Bill Hoppe is a friend of mine. He knows of what he speaks. He was one of the ones who accurately predicted what is actually happening today 13 years ago. It's a crying shame, let's hope the "anti's" and the "huggers" dont get their appeal approved.

That map is a complete joke. It will take 13 more years for the wolves to move beyond that boundary. I am only familiar with the areas in and around Cody, but I can tell you in that area this delisting isn't going to do a damn bit of good. The areas to the west and nw of Cody where a great deal of Elk, Sheep hunting isn't affected at all by this new predator designation. I don't know who came up with the map, G & F or the Feds, but it is a complete JOKE! I'm very dissapointed with this!
