I have a Brunton Summit. I've held it next to a Kestral 3500 and they proformed equally. I like the Kestral's snap-on cover and the bigger prop. It also seemed to be a little more heavy-duty. I really like the Brunton especially for the $65 price tag but the Kestral is the better of the two.

    I just recently bought a kestrel 3500 NV I have the recept here with me in hand shipping and all was $169.00 that's the best price that I could find here is the link www.ambientweather.com

    Ps The kestrel 3500 is very user friendly, trust me if I can use it anyone can

    Back when I got my 3500, I also bought it from AmbientWeather.com as it was the best price I could find then as well.

    About three months ago I bought a SkyMaster from ambientweather.com, I got it for $129 shipped!
