Whats a good typical 1000yd group?

Whats a good typical 1000yd group?

When shooting a 338 lapua, what would be a good group size at 1000 yards? Thanks

    10" would be sub MOA. I think that would be good.

    i would think anywher around 1/2 moa to 3/4 moa, so 5-8 inches would be a great group

    "Good" is extremely relative to the shooter, weapon/equipment, and conditions.

    Anything under 1 MOA is good enough to get the job done 99% of the time.

    Like Wildrose said. It's all relative.

    Are you trying to compete in IBS, or F-Class?

    Are you hunting Elk, Whitetail, Groundhogs?

    Or, are you just plinking?

    Consistent MOA at 1k is pretty good unless you're competing.
