When shooting a 338 lapua, what would be a good group size at 1000 yards? Thanks

10" would be sub MOA. I think that would be good.

i would think anywher around 1/2 moa to 3/4 moa, so 5-8 inches would be a great group

"Good" is extremely relative to the shooter, weapon/equipment, and conditions.

Anything under 1 MOA is good enough to get the job done 99% of the time.

Like Wildrose said. It's all relative.

Are you trying to compete in IBS, or F-Class?

Are you hunting Elk, Whitetail, Groundhogs?

Or, are you just plinking?

Consistent MOA at 1k is pretty good unless you're competing.
