Thanks...I did shoot one last year from this exact spot. 1150 yards with my 7stw. I can't call very good, I just glass for them and take long shots.

Thanks. It was the Swarovski LG. I can get it to read out to 2000 in the mornings or evenings. More than 2000 just says error. It took a few tries to get a reading on that rock.

You too. My fav method is LR ambush, that's why I got me a 270 AM.

I enjoyed the excitement a female voice with that shot. You are to be envied a little. LRSickle has a wife like that, too.

That's fun isn't it. We slide in a little before light and crawl up a small hill and pop our heads over and glass. I have killed a couple that way. 630 and 1150.

My wife goes everywhere with me. Up the steepest hills it doesn't matter. She is encouraging me to get a 338 AM and I am the one holding back The problem I see is that my EDGE will outshoot my rangefinder, so until I can afford a Vector, this rifle will be good enough.
