Upgrade M700 or custom order a Savage

You could send it to Kevin Cram (the one in the video), and get the barrel done plus the action trued. Not sure of his price, but may be an option. Seem very competent.

    I've found changing over to Savage has been a very good way to go if you like to shoot a lot and use barrels, you can order high quality pre-fit barrel and fit them yourself without any problems. Much more cost effective for the one gun kind of guy that like to shoot a lot.

    Looks like getting Hart to re-barrel and square up the action for $650 might be my best bet.

    Go for it. They have built a lot of guns. Good barrels to boot!

    Thanks again for all the replies. I have got an email to the guy in the videos and into Hart to see how backed up they are. And I have not ruled out everything suggested about a Savage. I learned a lot this afternoon from everyone. Thanks.
