Seems to me more speed less accurate being with my bow, slug gun. Well was just wondering if anyone on here could give me some input on the 11.25 twist rate on the barrel and what bullets they shot and it likes. Gonna try some 175grs next time, my buddy tells me to just shoot the 150s but want a bullet that will be more stable at longer distances.Well if yall can help thanks, take it easy.
In most cases the 1 in 11 to 1 in 12 twist are best suited for the 168s or lighter (Like the 150)
The 1 in 11.25 may shoot the 175s at 308 speeds but it may not be the best( most accurate)
Each rifle/barrel has there likes and dislikes so you will just have to try different bullets.
I had very good luck with the 168gr SMKs in my match rifle (A 1 in 12 twist) with a near max
load.( 41.5 grains of 3031) The 168 SMKs would shoot under 1 MOA all the way out to 600
yards with Iron sights.I never placed a scope on it to see just how good it could shoot.
My rifle did not like the 175s at all. but your twist is a little faster so yours might. Good Luck.
