A 1 in 9 twist barrel should be able to stabilize a 90 grain pill shouldn't it??

I assume you are talking 6mm? If so, a 10 will stabilize it...........Rich

Not in a 22 caliber it won't, not even close. You'd need a 1x7" (and a tight one at that) at a bare minimum. Playing it safe will need a 1x6.5" to make sure.
