I was wondering about these 'hangers' you posted.
I use Reloader 25, it's a pretty stout load and pushes the 180 BTips at 3150 across the chronograph from a 24 inch barrel. If you want to use RL25, I was told to begin working loads RL22 STARTING values plus 4 grains. In other words, if the beginning load is 70 grains for RL22, start at 74 grains for RL25. YOU NEED TO WORK UP YOUR OWN LOAD, mine won't work for you.
As to whether a load/bullet is adequate for bears I don't know. I don't have very much experience with them. I know that a deer or elk can run about 80 to 100 yards once double-lunged, I'd suspect a bear could do like-wise. I wouldn't want an upset bear in my lap [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] .
