Re: TC Encore question

Over travel is adjusted by a set screw in the rear of the trigger guard. Not all Encores have the set screw and I don't know when TC stopped including them. The newer ones do not have the screw and you have to drill and tap to add one.

Mike Bellm can help you out with the parts or the work, and other parts for your Encore.

+1 on the Bellm trigger kits. I have them on both of my Encore and contender pistols. They break like glass.

Re: TC Encore question

My Encore has a better trigger than everything except my 700 with a Jewel.
You can buy the kit from Bellm like I did and do the work yourself. It is really pretty easy just take your time.
Sweet little rifle I like to pack for pigs in the steep coastal hills. 7-08 and it has killed a few whitetail in Wisconsin.

Both, it has to be. Adjust from the outside and protrude from the inside to limit the travel. Go to Bellm's website, Mike is a great guy and knows more about T/C's than anybody!
