Re: Tactical stock

If I was unclear, I meant to say, "Precision Stock Works Hunter". They are a small company here in Texas who came up with their own design and have contracted McMillan to produce them.

Really innovative design so I'd recommend giving them a look. I'm probably going to buy two of them this year for a couple of rifle projects I'm working on.

I have the same rifle and caliber and mine is a blind mag, I just bought a Manners tactical stock for my savage, and I'm impressed. Quality is the same as McMillan, stock, a tad cheaper. Manners, great customer service. I have another made by McMillan and it is a precisionrifle wrks stock. They are a sponsor on here too. Awesome stock too. Pick your style between these 3, they are fantastic, all of them. McMillan may have the most choices so I voted for them. But I just bought a Manners! Go figure...

Another vote for the McMillan. I have four of them, all a perfect bedding fit(drop in's). I'm very partial to the standard A3 for my LR rigs, w/o adj stock, Sporter fill. Happens to fit me perfectly. I agree, the Manners felt like a 2x4.IMO.
