awsome bull, I know the feeling of intimidating, I hauled out my alaskan moose by myself. What a bitch that was.

The hits were through the shoulders. No bullets were recoverd. I was hoping to retrieve a bullet to see what they looked like but they smoked right on through. I guess thats what should be expected from a controlled expansion bullet that measures a full 1.5" at near 3150 FPS to start.

Long range shooting is a process that ends with a result. Once you start to focus on the result (how bad your last shot was, how big the group is going to be, what your buck will score, what your match score is, what place you are in...) then you loose the capacity to focus on the process.

Sounds like a really great hunt with a nice shot and plenty of hard work to make the story interesting.
