Shooting Prone - Off hand on scope?

My free hand is used to control the rear (bean bag, I made a larger version of the one Len offers on here to fit my longer bipods)

I have thought about it, but I do too much hunting where I can end up with quick shots without being able to put the ear plugs in...my hearing is bad enough the way it is, hahahaha!
