Congrats! Guys, look carefully at the backround in the pic. It is worth the trip for the scenery alone.

McMillan desert cammo.

Lerch, they weighed roughly 80#. This pack was all fairly medium sized wolves. None were of the larger variety.

Way to shoot Meichele !!!

Now , I would post some more but I have to go for my "envy moderation " sessions now

You know that you are going to get Roy in deep doo doo showing him dead woof pix. He's likely to try that without driving all the way to Laska( can't say as I would blame him either )

Once again good stalk and shoot , now send us some more pix of that fantasy land you live in

Congratulations! Nice story and pics. Your vermin are considered illegal "trophies" down here by most folks!

Here you can shoot 5 in most units and in some units you can shoot 10 of them. That doesnt count against any trapping bag limits either or vice versa. There are even some units you can use a snow machine to position yourself and you can shoot them from a stationary snow machine. There for a while we had "arial" wolf hunting in a couple of units. Permit holders could shoot them from an airplane!! That stired up alot of contentions with some folks down there. They threatend to promote boycotting tourism to Alaska! Whatever. Didnt work.
