Well, there is no guarantee of seeing sheep of course but there is a little herd that lives on the near Dangling Rope Marina. They are often spotted eating the lawn next to the government housing just up from the dock.
There is also sheep up the Escalante river arm and a good sized herd near Hite. This herd used to live right near the bridge but since the waterline is now over a mile from the bridge, they have reportedly moved closer to the water but you may still see some around the bridge.
