Hi Seven Oaks,
If You want to have a real good scope for night hunting, You should have a look at the
Swarovski Z6i scopes!
I am living in Germany and about 85% of my hunting is night hunting on pigs without artificial light (art. light is against the law) - so the best scope is essential to be sucessfull with this. The Swarovski is the perfect deal to go out with. I have the 50mm scope as it is a good compromisse between light gathering ability and weight/size, but if You want the most light gathering, You should take a 56mm.
I could aim in many conditions just from the city lights reflection at the clouds with this Swarovski scope! Of course I prefer moon nights, but they are not enough...

never...
What is essential as well is an illuminated reticle - especially in the lowest light You could aim, the illuminated reticle gives you the control of Your POI. - imagine what´s happening without: your target is black, your reticle is black and the background grey: you will be helpless without illuminated reticle!
