Sako TRG-S action ?

Thinking about this rifle in 338Lapua. Would this be a good starting point for a LR hunter. Thanks for any help

Make sure you can get a good/desirable stock before getting too far into the project.

Several folks posting here has used this action for rifles but had stocking problems.

Dave, the stock would be custom made by a local stock maker. Thinking of a Kreiger barrel but what length and twist would you use? I would like to use it for ranges of 1200 to 1500 yards. thanks
