Rings and base suggestions for Sendero .300 RUM

I recently purchased a Sendero II in .300 RUM, and followed up with a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 FFP.

Any suggestions for Rings and Base (20 MOA)

I would go with a 20 moa Nightforce rail and Nightforce Ultra Light rings. Unless you wish to go a cheap route and take the chances of the base not being a true 20 MOA, flexing, moving due to poor fit and no recoil lug and the cheap azz screws shearing off.

I have learned this area is worth spending a little extra.

Only if you get the one with 8x40 (larger) screws. Then your receiver holes will need re-tapped. If you get the standard one for the 700 REM it will bolt right on. I do apply a light coat of bedding compound to all the bottom of the rails I install. But some people do not.
