Re: Rifle Basix Triggers
I also have one on my 112BVSS in .300WinMag. This rifle came out before the AccuTrigger and the original trigger had been adjusted but still had that soft, mushy feel to it.
I caught the RB on sale at Midway and do not regret it. It breaks clean and crisp everytime at 2 lbs. I don't think you'll regret the investment. Installation is simple and quick. IIRC there are two versions for the Savage, the pre and post AccuTrigger.
I have since then bought a Shilen trigger for my 700P and other than the width of the trigger shoe, I can't tell a difference in the feel of either. Both break like the proverbial "glass rod".
Before RB ever came out or even existed, I bought Timneys to replace the factory triggers on Savages. They were the only game in town at one time and were great considering what they were placing. JohnnyK.
