Rem 700 Question

Quick question with hopefully a quick answer I currently have a stock Remington 700 BDL in 300 Win Mag, and am about to have it rebarreled and the action trued up a bit. Can I have my new barrel chambered in 260 Rem and use regular 260 rounds with my current long action. Thanks for the help. Rich

Yes, you can use a LA for a 260 Rem. but, your Mag boltface will not work with the 260 case. You will either have to bush the bolt down and have an aftermarket extractor installed or, find a new bolt with the appropriate boltface.
