Problem with .270 grouping at 100 yrds

I got an easy trick set up at 100 yds and take your bolt out. Look through you barrel and set up so you see the target. Adjust your scope to the new target. And your on paper.

Yes, I bore sighted, but it was 2" at 25 yards. For some reason, and I can't figure where I got this tid-bit of information, I thought that if you "grouped" at 25 yards, you will be close, if not exactly, the same grouping at 100 yards -- the bullet would cross that plain again at 100 yards that it did at 25.

WRONG! You and others have convinced me in the error of my ways. I think you nailed it when suggesting to bore sight at 100 yards.
