understand what you are saying but what if it's the ammo not grouping well...then doing this wouldn't show too Much either right?

    Try 3" worth of clicks. That way you are beyond the error of the load and I would think you should see some kind of pattern if not or the impact is completely off. Also pay attention to the wind it can make a good shooting rifle look bad if you don't
