Re: Out of the Box Accuracy

My question is what do you consider accurate? Some guys who get 1" moa or better at a hundred are happy. To some guys and myself it will piss me off. I think most factory mass produced rifles are luck of the draw. I have some friends with out of the box 700s which are tack drivers and others who wont hit the side of a barn. I have a Sako 75 that wont hit the side of the barn. So it runs in most over the counter guns no matter what you pay. I have other Sakos that are shooters and the last a POS. So a lot of it is luck of the draw. I think though most guys dont take the time to find the right load/practice etc. Just my two cents.

Re: Out of the Box Accuracy

Anybody know bout the out of the box accuracy on Kimber or Blaser. They should shoot well considering the price tag when i could go off spend half the price for still a good shooting gun.

Re: Out of the Box Accuracy

My brother has a couple of Blaser R93's and several barrels to go along with them. They have all been sub-MOA. A couple of the barrels have shot 1/2 MOA. But, I don't know how accurately he keeps records. He may only be reporting his best groups. He doesn't hand load. So, it's all just premium factory ammo.
