A note for everyone.

I have some news that isn't so good. I work for a company named Air-Evac lifeteam. One of our EMS helicopters were out on a call about 3:00 in the morning on the 30th of Dec. looking for a lost hunter. They had spotted him and then they crashed killing the pilot, nurse and paramedic. This is the first time since 1985 we have ever lost any crew members. If you guys would give them a though in church next Sunday. Thank you
RH

What a sad ending to this rescue mission. We recently had an air medical escort helicopter go down in bad weather, losing all four aboard off the southern coast of Alaska. It hurts more than normal knowing that the people that lost their lives were risking them in the effort to help others in need.

You, the co-workers, and family members will be in our thoughts and prayers.

    My condolences.
I've been a professional pilot for nigh onto 36 years now and it never gets any easier to lose friends or acquaintances.
