Not Good News

I read this on the internet. I'm hoping this is a misprint but......

Hornady Suspends Production of 150 Ammo Types and 150 Bullet Types for Balance of 2013 Daily Bulletin

Just an FYI

It's not, it's been reported several places, and folks have gotten verification on it.

It's also NOT bad news. If you actually read what Hornady has to say, you will see that they are suspending production of certain products in order to allow for INCREASED production of other products that are in high demand. Yes, that means that some of the bullets and ammo that I really like may not be produced for awhile. It also means that other bullets and ammo that I really like and use a lot of may finally be available again soon.

There is a video with Steve Hornady explaining what they're doing and why right here.

Hornady Lists Bullet and Ammo Types That Remain in Production Daily Bulletin

The bad part about this is my rifle, .308 win, loves the 165 BTSP (8098). And it is part of the suspended list. I know that it is not permanent, but I have to be easy on what I have.

Anyone that's had a business of their own....and managed it....knows exactly what they're doing and I'd do the same thing!

That's STRAIGHT TALK from the man whose name is on the 'dotted line' and I appreciate his effort to set things straight!
