Nikon Buckmaster VS Monarch

I'm looking for a NEW scope to go on my new Remington VSSF .223. With Nikons rebate the prices are close, what would be the best scope for this set up?

the Monarch 4-16X42 has 1/4 moa adjust, 40moa total adjustment $339.95

the Buckmaster 4.5-24X40 has 1/4 moa adjust, 50moa total adjustment $259.99

the Buckmaster 6-18X40 has 1/8 moa adjust, 50moa total adjustment $329.99

all with the Nikoplex

Thanks for any help.

Buy the Monarch. Better light transmission and a higher end scope.

second vote for buying the Monarch...I love my Buckmasters but if I had the money at the time, I would have gotten a Monarch...It's just a higher quality scope

The Monarch will have a little bit better "Exit Pupil" which will help increase light transmission.

OK, just a little off topic....

I am looking at a Nikon Prostaff. Where does a Prostaff fit in with the Monarch and Buckmaster?

    Thanks
