Re: NightForce New MOAR Reticle Scope
I got my hands on a 5.5-22x50 MOAR C433, at cabelas yesterday, and now I really want one in the worst way! I have a question for someone who sells or owns one. On the side of the box it had all the necessary information, but after MOAR it had a F2 (MOARF2). Any thoughts what that means?
Thanks

pretty sure F2 means second focal plane. if I remember correctly, the FFP scopes are labled F1...someone will correct me if I am incorrect

Re: NightForce New MOAR Reticle Scope
Gentlemen,
Yes the F2 does mean that they are second focal plane. So you are correct!
This new reticle is perfect for hunting conditions like I mentioned before. I have been very fortunate to put down several animals with one of these on one of my 300's.
We do have them in stock on our webstore if anyone is interested in getting one before season? We actually are running a special on all our scopes right now. Free shipping, free T shirt, and a free box of any Berger Bullets we stock.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have on any of the NigntForce scope lines.

Would love that reticle in my 2.5-10, but not offered in the compacts.

Re: NightForce New MOAR Reticle Scope
I am getting ready to buy a new scope for the LRKM Shawn is bulding me. I was all about the MOAR until I saw the subtensions are twice as thick as a NP-R1. I have tried using thicker reticles in the past and hated them. I have never had an issue seeing a RP-R1 or R2. This rifle will be specifically for ELR and much of it's use past 1500 yards. I really like the layout of the MOAR, just can't get warmed up to a thick cross hair. So I guess I will stay with the NP-R1 for my intended purpose. If NF would ever offer this reticle with the thiner subtensions, I will be all over it. But I don't see that happening.
