New to the forum and new project

Howdy - I've been lurking for awhile and decided to join in - here is my latest project:

.300 RUM
Blue printed REM 700 LA
Shilen Select Match 1-10", SS, Fluted, 30" barrel
Black laminate stock
Shilen trigger

Still need to finsh the stock, muzzle brake and metal finish. I haven't decided on a scope yet, time will tell. What do you all think?

Thanks and yes - it was a large chunk of laminate in the beggining.

Thanks guys - you're right, I can't wait to fire it at a target or better yet an animal! I've test fired it to make sure everything was in the right place , and it was. I finished the muzzle brake today - it took most of the recoil away Almost ready for the Cerakote!
