Maybe a 7mm STW, 7mm/300WM, 300 Weatherby, 7mm Weatherby?

Choices choices

I just checked Midway, and the 300gr SMK's are $29.49 for 50, thats $0.60 a piece.

Or are you guys counting the primer, powder etc?

If some is good and more is better, then too much is just right.

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought, cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives

I don't think the WSM will drive the 208 to 2900-2950 without extreme pressures -even at 28 inches.

If you want that kind of speed go with the 300 win. the Lapua brass is nice and no funky feeding issues with the AICS mags (I don't think they make short mag clips).

Good luck!

I am located in Australia, that is why the projectiles are over $1.

If the 300wsm can not get the 2900-2950fps with the 208's, then I will seriously look at the 300WM. As said, Lapua cases.
