need some help

Hey guys new to the site. It's a really great one. I just bought a mossberg 300 win mag for a really good price new. It has a muzzle break and fluted barrel, laminate wood stock. I really like how the gun looks and it's really light. I'm thinking about putting the vortex hs Lr 6x24x50 on it. The question is. Is this gun accurate. I think any gun is accurate if you find the load the gun likes. I have never owned a mossberg rifle. Has anyone had any experience with them or am i wasting my time. Thanks for any info!
