Need opinions fast! Is this as good of a deal as i think??
My friend just had a little girl and is getting rid of a gun, savage model 12 22-250 with a leupold vx-3 6-18x40. Our final agreement is $650 and my other friend is eventually buying the scope for $325... im basically getting the gun for $325 which seems like a great deal for me, am i right??
Gun has 200 rounds through it and shoots under an inch with factory 50gr hornadys, i already have dies and all of the components for the caliber

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me...although it does break your "Remington 700's Only" mantra! Hahaha, couldn't resist

He couldnt sell the scope with it (wife got a little mad) so i offered and he agreed on $300 for the gun only

That's a good deal!! Now you will have a gun in the safe that all those 700's will be drooling over!! Just messin with ya!! I can never find deals like that, at least when I have the money to do it!! Happy shooting!
