Re: My own darn fault!!!...........

Potential ballistics pulled from Quick load program for his stated distance of 2238 yards

Velocity-900 ft
3040" drop or 127MOA

If he truly made the shot, that was a nice luck shot. Everyone deserves one of those in their life.

Re: My own darn fault!!!...........

I have to admit, That shot would be luck. Could it have happened? Almost anything is possible. Hell, I have seen varios creatures killed with the old 22lr at ranges exceeding 2 and 300 yards. Was it skill. No. Not when the target was the size of a pop can. I have heard of birds being shot out of the air while they were on the fly with a 22-250 with a 3-9x scope. I didn't get to witness it but it is from a reliable resource. When I was younger I had a friend get a crow out of a tree with a daisy "red ryder" type bb gun at 50-60yrds. So In my opinion it can be done. If i was shooting and saw a badger at that range would I shoot at it? maybe, depends on how many bullets I had. If I hit it would it be luck or skill. Luck 110%. So yes it could have happened. Did it? only the shooter knows.
I dont know who ever came up with the imaganary word of "Over Gunned"

Well, the latest VH magazine showed up yesterday and sure enough the winner was Jesse Freese with a 2238 yard kill on a Montana badger with his 300 WSM.
