That is a really nice stock you made! I wood love to make one out of wood but I don't like the idea of carrying it through brush and scratching it and i like the idea of an aluminum one.

Judging by the block design by the trigger guard, it appears he's designed it to utilize an AR grip. That's just what it looks like to me.

Ooops, sorry, I didn't make it to page 2 before I posted. My bad. But it is good to know I was spot-on. LOL

He used some sort of trigger linkage like the XP style. It is or was comercially available at the time. The scope is mounted to a base that is mounted to a mini block that is bedded into the stock. Same concept as a barrel block design for a target rifle.
