my 308 long range killer

thought you guys would like to see my long range killing machine.
Remington model 700 308 Custom
25 1/2 Lilja s/s heavy bull barrel, flutted with 6 fluts,
H-S Precision Pro-Series Thumbhole Target Silhouette Stock,

Glen Chapmen out of Ferndale Wa did the smith work. This rifle will shoot sub 1/4 groups.

5 shoot group at 100.have not had much of a chance to shoot at longer range the weather has been to bad.

Mr. Chapman does some great work!! I had him slick up a rifle or two for me when I lived up toward Bellingham. Nice looking rig.

Yah I would say load development is pretty much complete! Theres really not mcuh room to improve on that. Great looking rifle and groups to boot!

Nice rifle and excellent group. Lately, I've been neglecting my other rifle in favor of my 308. This round is addictive. Good round to honed your skill. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Here's a 10 shot group at 100 yards. I pulled one off the group. Definitely operator error.

Load: 168 grain Nosler Comp.
44 grain BLC-2 Summer Load
Federal 210 Match Primer
Federal Gold Medal Brass
Seated 2.800
Velocity 2675 fps




Here's a 5 shot group using 155 grain Lapua Scenar

Load: 155 grain Lapua Scenar
44.8 Varget
Federal 210 Match primer
Federal Gold Medal Brass
Seated 2.833
Velocity 2965 fps
