+1 on the HTG.
Long range shooting is a process that ends with a result. Once you start to focus on the result (how bad your last shot was, how big the group is going to be, what your buck will score, what your match score is, what place you are in...) then you loose the capacity to focus on the process.

    Look at a Manners thumbhole.......Or go with the A2.

    I´d go with an A3, maybe the lighter version; or take a look at Manners Thumbhole, or the lightest version of their tactical stock

    I am putting together a 300 WM with a fluted Krieger #6 taper on a Predator action and a Mcmillan Rem Hunter. Sort of a tweener for hunting.
