Max velocity of MK 240's

Still kicking my options around between a .30 and .338 big magnum. Who has driven the 240 mk at velocities over 3200? maybe more. If so, what caliber and barrel length were you using? Any problems with these bullets coming apart at that velocity?

I would assume the 240 mk is generally accepted as the best Looonnnggggg range .30 cal bullet for the big magnums. Any body shot it successfully at a mile on multiple occasions. How far with good consistancy, 1800, 2000, more???

Hmm, interersting. Thanks. I wonder if there is a better powder that would duplicate that velocity.....50 BMG ?? H1000 ?
