Math

The range is 621 yards from shooter to target. the shooter is at 3260'and the target is at 3576' for a change of 316'. what is the angle and the adjusted yards that he is shooting? please show your work

im gettting a 9.765 degree angle. so if i round to 10 degrees... it would be 611.6 yards?

shoot to 612, i did the math, with no rounding you get 612.0013 yards

a2 + b2 = c2

105.33^2 + b^2 = 621 ^2
11,094.41 + b^2 = 385,641.00
b^2 = 374,546.59
b = 612.00

612.00 yards


Angle is 9.77 degrees.
