The TMR also has smaller increment tic marks at the outer ends that allow direct measurement and easy resolution to .2 mil, and smaller increments yet can be eyeballed.

FWIW, I make up a data book page and use that with the mil marks for a quickly available holdover chart. I have various zero ranges set up, depending on my expected shots. This page is correct when I dial my scope to a 400 yard zero - the crosshair intersection is 400, and my holdover/holdunder points are marked on my diagram:

Is it worth getting the Nightforce NSX 5.5-25 instead of the Mark4? Its a extra $400.

And if so, what reticle is good that comes in the NSX. Something thats easy to use and good for longrange

I have no hands on experience with the NF scopes, however from what I undersatnd and have read they are the standard which everyone seems to be comparing other scopes too.

Some of the pluses for the NF is to 10MOA/full turn (rotation) of the turret, easier to keep track of where you are instead of counting in 15's.

You get what you pay for I guess.
