Re: LR Hunting Rifle scabbard---part 2

My outfitter buddy and I have been looking at the LR scabbard issue and how to properly protect these scopes in the back country. We have some high dollar rigs show up and they don't usually bring a scabbard with them.

Beyond that I need my own for my night force.

I think Jeff is the Terminator at this point. Fitting name. His adventures would make for some good filming.

Randy, would you have any photo's of your LR scabbards mounted up on the horse?

Thanks
Jeff

Jeff, I'll saddle up one of my trusty steeds this weekend and show a couple of different views---may take them riding and see if a wolfy is out and about.

Oh yeah and I have a black lab that loves to find them.

Jeff, per your request here are some photos. I like to ride with the scabbard in the verticle position---no pressure on the scope and you can pull it out as you dismount. The rifle in the scabbard is actually a left handed rifle as I don't have any right handed rifles. It fit entirely with the bolt inside the scabbard so with the aluminum shaping in the scabbard you really don't need a bolt notch although it makes the rifle be in the same place within the scabbard.
Oh, and the model in the photo is T.C.
