    Yes.

    MOA is easy for me to remember.
    1 MOA at 100yds = 1"
    1 MOA at 300yds = 3"
    1 MOA at 500yds = 5"
    1 MOA at 1000yds = 1000"

    It mostly comes down to preference or need. e.g. If you're in the millitary or LE, you might be required to use MIL.

    The sad thing is that I've had similar brain farts in the field albeit not quite that drastic. And, it's real embarassing.
