looking for owners of Kimber rifles

I am looking for input from owners of Kimber Rifles.

I am specifically looking at the Model 84M, Varmit Series, LongMaster Classic in 308Win.

Does anyone out there have one?
What kind of accuracy do you get with your rifle?

Thanks for your time

Steve,

Welcome to the board.

Watching those hunting shows is a little like reading Playboy. Those big racks are out there but they're few and far between, easier to spot than to get one of your own, and if you do get one, it usually costs quite a bit to mount it.

Re: looking for owners of Kimber rifles

I have a Kimber Longmaster in 308. It shoots great. I was having a problem once at the range but it was from copper fouling. Good cleaning and its back to making snowmen. In the field I've taken 3 shots and have 2 caribou and one black bear to show for it. It is about the best factory rifle I've owned.

I took a Kimber 8400 Montana in .300 WSM to Africa in June. The rifle is topped with Talley one-piece rings and a Leupold 3.5-10x40. It is a fantastic hunting rifle.
