Re: looking for a good 7 WSM long-range hunting rifle

Last year they had a run of the coyote light in 7WSM. I was going to buy one but took to long and they just went of the production list. I bet if you called around to different stores you could grab one. That or find one used.

Browning has most of their new stuff in WMS. I for one won't go for a browning, mainly because I think they are WAY overprice (thinking eclipse).

If you find a 7 SAUM in a Senduro I would buy it. SAUMs on long actions are sweet!

Of all your options though I think that the short action Winchesters are going to be your best bet.

I was in the same boat as you about a year ago, wanted a 7wsm bad but couldnt find one at the time, so I went with the 7mm rem mag in the sendero. I've been very pleased with it shooting 180 berger vld's. She's settled in good now. Accuracy blows my mind.

Thanks, Angus! Found one in 7mm WSM. Looks like that will be the one. Thanks to everybody for your input.

Stocky's carries them. It doesn't appear that they have any in stock though. http://www.stockysstocks.com/servlet...chester/Detail
