Why did he use Mills? Moa is much easier you dont need to know your target in yards i.e. 18 inches is .5 yards but whats 16.5 or 12 or anything else that requires more math.

MOA is still the best but I do like the scope reticle just have to convert to moa and remember moa numbers.

I think he used mils on the upper part of the vertical line and all of the horizontal for those who are familiar with and prefer mil-ranging.
