Long Range Hunting Info

Just order the DVD from The Best of the West TV series with John Burns. They continuously hunt at ranges up to and beyond 1000 yds. Order the video called "Beyond Belief". It tells you how they do it and the equipment they use. He hunts with a .284 WRP. John is also a custom rifle builder and a long range shooting instructor.

Got the DVD for xmas - what a joke. They tell you to buy the series (of DVD's) where they show you how they did it. The initial DVD doesn't tell you anything.

I like the elk they wounded with a high hit because they shot downhill and didn't have an ACI.

They just use a range Finder to dial their Tuned Trajectory Compensator

What were they wounding those dogs with? My .243 drops coyotes at those ranges without a wimper. Can't wait to try my 300 RUM/Lilja on them.
