Can you get Matrix bullets up here in Canada? I have'nt seen any up here but then again I might not be looking hard enough.

Don't know what "long ranges" means to you but I've got a 150 VLD load in one of them that I would use on the biggest of bull elk at 500-800 yards w/o hesitation. I don't think I'd consider the bigger bullets by Matrix in the regular 270 Win simply because I think you'd be getting over the "benefits" curve from velocity loss. I could be wrong!.....

This statement is true. People get so hung up on the biggest bullet that they forget what it takes to drive it at it's high BC velocity. the 270 case is limited to about 60 grains of powder and the 270 AI about 65 gr.
