hey mate im going to give shooting the old 22 at 300m a go this weekend. dont think i will have the chance to go to 700m but im aiming to use it as simulated scope dialing in to simulate using the .308 to 800m. will be far cheeper and easier on my body.post a video. would love to see u shooting to 700 with the 22.

There are Airgun scope bases that allow a LOT of adjustment for elevation. Most are not very robust or able to hold zero, from what I have heard. They also make adjustable rings. If you don't particularly LIKE your scope, you can put shims under the scope tube inside the rear ring to gain elevation. I wouldn't do this to a scope I LIKED.

I have a Savage/Anschutz 64 with a SWFA SS 10x42 on it now. Furthest I've shot is 100yd and it's tough to get a repeatable 1.25moa group at that range with Lapua Midas L.

I know that US Optics makes a 20moa base for the CZ 452 too - would probably fit my 11mm rail on my Anschutz.

It seems like we should decide what "it" is, before we bet on it?
