Lightest weight bipods

I like the Harris but is there anything lighter out there similar to their 6-9?

Thanks.

Re: Lightest weight bipods

I don't know of any lighter models that would hold up with an LR rig.

Go with the S Models though rather than the old standard. That way you can easily get your cant right.

Re: Lightest weight bipods

I just got a caldwell 6-9 that pivots as well. 1/2 the price of the harris and it does seem a bit lighter to me. We'll see how it holds up. I've got one harris as well, just figured I'd try the less expensive one. I've tried the Shooters Ridge, a lightweight one from cabelas, Harris and now the caldwell. So far, I see no reason why to buy the Harris with the new Caldwell. Just my opinion - anyone been using one very long?

Try Stoney Point - Lightweight Bipods, it's 5.1 Ozs.

Re: Lightest weight bipods

Here's a review on the Caldwell by Chuck Hawks. Maybe they've improved in the last couple of years but he appears to be less than impressed.
