JUDD's new MCR 7mm Dakota

After a long winter I finally got JUDD's new stick all buttoned up. He has it listed also under the gun photos as " Jacklyn " This is a new laminate company (Cousineau Wood Products) with vibrate colors. The black is actually black not gray and the orange is very bright. Hopefully as soon as the weather warms up a little more we'll get some load testing done.

Here are the specs of the 7mm Dakota:

BAT model HR single shot action
BAT aluminum ADL trigger guard
BAT 1 piece Rings
Jewel Trigger set at a heavy 3 oz.
Broughton 5C / 7.9B contour / 1-9 twist finished at 32"
3 Port Muscle Brake
Russo Wildcat Thumbhole Stock
Automotive clearcoat
Pachmayr Decelorator Pad
Pillar Bedded
Sightron 8-32 x 56
All metal work was high luster polished

Another fine looking Russo stock and a awesome Kevin build. It was between that color or olive and blk. for my next build. I choose the olive and blk. Great minds think alike. For sure the next one.
Nice looking rifle. Fully polished. The only way to go!!!

Kevin,

Another example of great craftsmanship!!!

I have a question: What's holding the butt up in the first two pics? You have some kind of anti-gravity innovation??

I put a piece of paper towel under the pistol grip and have it resting on the rock.

Some how I knew it wasn't touching that rock in any way!

Which goes to show you attention to detail.

That rock is getting pretty famous.

You'll have to let me build you a rifle to get your picture on that rock.

I'm thinking Specialty Handgun. You do that kind of thing?
